Jack Eadon (lead guitar, vocal) - As leader, Jack drove the band toward its goal of stardom. His lead guitar was simple and vaguely reminiscent of George Harrison, melodic and flowing. He wrote the group's concept songs and those based strongly on repetitive riffs. He served as producer, art director, PR manager, agent, and accountant. Today, after careers in corporate America and ad photography, he is married, and writes full-time in southern California.

Tom Sievers (bass guitar, vocal) -  With Jack, he started the group in Jack's garage. Throughout the band's time together, Tom actively engaged in arrangements of songs and complex vocals. Besides incorporating a smooth melodic bass visited often by counter melodies and a punchy tonality, he encouraged the band to try complex arrangements which were fundamental to its later sound. His contributions to the ENCORE! CD have been termed
"breakthrough" by reviewers around the world. Today he is father to David and works as a research librarian in suburban Chicago. He's played for years in a jazz band, The Jazz Spectrum.

Steve “Al” Yates (organ, vocal, writer) - A member during the band's later years, "Al" was responsible for bringing a more sophisticated sound to the group. Playing many instruments was his forte, but his writing, while derivative, evoked a personal outpouring far beyond his years. In addition, some of his song's simple lyrics remain elegant counterpoints to the band's heavier sound, which he also helped create with his Hammond Organ. Today he is the director of music for his church and is a husband and father.

Steve “Crow” Hilkin (drums) - "Crow" joined the group just before it became Khazad Doom.  He replaced previous "dorky" drummers, and, in addition to being aggressive and skilled, contributed a performance sense the group greatly needed.  His solos during In-a-gadda-da-vida became legendary around Chicago teen clubs.  He brought a current view to the band that kept it fresh.  He also contributed to the development of its "heavy" sound in the later years.  Today he owns a graphics firm in Idaho and is married to Darlene.
