Got To Make It!...
After years of work on Got To Make It!,Jack Eadon released his sixties coming of age memoir in 2001. On various dates over the past year, Jack has given readings to groups around Chicago, in Kansas City, and in Orange County, California. Of particular note, the second book signing was held at the Double Tree Hotel in Skokie, Illinois, across the street from the Old Orchard parking lot, the site where the band played to 15,000 kids at the kick-off of the 1970 worldwide Hunger March: "Feed the Hungry people, walkin' for peace and love . . . " was the chant back then. Read the details of this monumental event in Got To Make It!.

Khazad Doom Chairperson Found !

Ilyse in 1974 (click for larger picture)Back in the seventies fan club chairperson, PR guru, and number one fan Ilyse Gottlieb stood by Khazad Doom as the band sought stardom. (See excerpts from Got To Make It! on the GIGS link.) Then, several years after the band broke up, Ilyse started her own successful career in radio.

Years later, when leader Jack Eadon wanted to find Ilyse to tell her about the band's status as a cult act in Europe, he couldn't find her, despite attempts on the Internet.
